Important Safety & Farm Liability Notice

Welcome to our farm! By purchasing a ticket or entering our property, you acknowledge that you are entering a working agricultural operation and agree to comply with all posted safety signs and staff instructions.

Under Texas law, our farm is granted strong liability protections for agri-tourism and farm animal activities. Please review the official Texas statutory notices below:

1. Texas Agritourism Act Notice
WARNING: UNDER TEXAS LAW (CHAPTER 75A, CIVIL PRACTICE AND REMEDIES CODE), AN AGRITOURISM PROVIDER IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY TO OR DEATH OF AN AGRITOURISM PARTICIPANT RESULTING FROM AN AGRITOURISM ACTIVITY.
(This applies to our pumpkin patch, barrel trains, and overall farm recreation).

2. Texas Farm Animal Liability Act Notice
WARNING: UNDER TEXAS LAW (CHAPTER 87, CIVIL PRACTICE AND REMEDIES CODE), A FARM ANIMAL ACTIVITY SPONSOR OR FARM ANIMAL PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN FARM ANIMAL ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF FARM ANIMAL ACTIVITIES.
(This applies to our goat, cow, donkey, and duck feeding areas)

 Important Info for Parents

Our festival is 'all enclosed' - behind a perimeter fence and there is only one way in and one way out.  We aim for safety but you are required to supervise your children at all times.

You can buy tickets at the entry way or online through this website only.  Our 3rd party ticket processor is built into this site only.  Any other site offering tickets or payment options to our event are not legitimate.  We are not on Groupon, Eventbrite, or any other platform.  When tickets are purchased here, a QR code will be emailed to you that we will scan at the entryway.

For online tickets - a regular debit or credit card is required.  At the entry we accept card, cash, apple pay, and other NFC payment methods.  Cash is only accepted at the entry - once inside the event everything is cashless.

Visit the Location section of this site for details.  Our address is 3300 E Palm Valley Blvd.  Round Rock TX 78665.  If you use Maps or Waze, search for the Old Settlers Association of Williamson County.

We're right across the street from Kalahari, just west of Dell Diamond and Salt Lick.  Look for the banners, road signs, etc.

The event is held in a beautiful, historic section of Old Settlers Park.  This area is an active farmstead - there may be ants and other insects, guests must have shoes, sandals, or flipflops - no barefoot partying.

For 2026 we are open Friday Oct 2 - Saturday Oct 31.  Open 10am to 7pm.  This year we are only open FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, and MONDAYS.  Please keep an eye on our google page for any changes to the schedule due to weather.

Yes.  We have multiple parking areas to use when it's busy.  Parking staff will guide you to the available sections but they are all free.  Please be kind to the parking staff, they are usually young employees and are just doing their job.

Yes, of course!

No.

Yes dogs on a leash are permitted.  You agree that they will stay leashed (even during photos) and that they will be cleaned up after.  Owners should bring water - it's hot out there some days!  We are dog people, but if your dog creates a 'situation' or you take them off their leash we will ask that you leave the festival.

We don't mind coolers, kids snacks, water bottles, etc.  We do offer delicious food and fair faves inside also!

Our festival is held on private property and we do not allow open or concealed carry.  Firearms and all other weapons are not allowed.   Notices of Penal Codes 30.05, 30.06, and 30.07 will be posted at the entryway.

For sure.

Military - This is for the veteran or active duty military member with their ID - spouses and dependents are not included.  National Guard is included.

First Responders - Same ID rules apply for first responders. First responders are Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, ER staff, and TDCJ.  ID required.

Teachers - ID required.  All school districts permitted.  Homeschool teachers are not included.

Yes.  Please bring this to the attention of the parking staff or call 254-338-3428 if they are not visible.  Our staff is trained to look for handicap license plates or mirror hangers and will contact the organizer immediately.  We provide parking close to the ticket entry.

Yes! We have a bunch that are available to use for free.  Our staff will retrieve them throughout the festival if they are abandoned.  We do not allow bringing them to the parking lot but you can drive up to the entry to load up your pumpkins.  If you or someone you know ever sees my hand painted custom painted stolen black flyer wagon with pink wheels, email me!  : )

No.  Please see the Attractions section of this page for a list of Free attractions.  We have to buy the pumpkins ourselves, truck them down from the farm, and spend a few days working to get them all cleaned and on the ground.  They are all absolutely for sale though!

Both.  We have some set prices for smaller items.  Larger items are weighed at the exit and priced by the pound.

Yes.  Minimums apply and it would have to be on a scheduled closed day (Tuesday - Thursday).  Email us for more information.

Always welcome and a great way to entertain the birthday kid and their friends.  For specifics give us a call or a quick email using the Contact Us page.

Yes!  We have had a bunch of schools out to the festival.  Email us or give us a call using the info on the Contact Us page and let's get your date reserved.

Not exactly.  Old Settlers Association is a farmstead with live farm animals.  There are several cows, baby calves, goats, ducks (sometimes) and a donkey but they are all behind a fence line.  We do offer free animal feed at the entry way for early guests to share with our farm friends.  This is cut off depending on crowd size to prevent over feeding.

It's inflatable.  It's small.  It's a blast for little kids.

We donate them all to our farmstead & other Central Texas ranchers after Halloween.

For safety, weather closures are considered carefully.  High winds will close some of our attractions and heavy rain makes the event grounds hazardous for staff and guests.  Look at our google page for live updates on open/close info, hours updates, etc.  Rainchecks will be provided for weather closures.
